MECHANICAL LICENSING To obtain a mechanical license for one of our songs, provided you are not changing any of the music or lyrics, please contact us at by clicking this link

Reduced Rates: FFM has stringent parameters for reduced rate consideration. If you are not able to pay an upfront advance on at least 5,000 units, you must obtain a license at the full statutory rate from our agent, the Harry Fox Agency.

Waiver Requests: FFM will only consider waiver requests for the sole benefit of valid 501(c) charity organizations. It is our policy to collect mechanicals on all units at the prevailing full statutory rate and to make donations directly to the charity based on accountings received.

Limited Mechanical Licensing Projects: If you plan to manufacture under 2,500 units and you are not changing the lyrics or using our Copyrighted Composition as a sample or interpolation etc., please obtain a mechanical license at the full statutory rate via The Harry Fox Agency’s Songfile system. Please note that neither the Harry Fox Agency nor our office issues voluntary licenses for less than 250 units. If you plan to manufacture less than 250 units and are not willing to pay a licensing fee equivalent to the fee for 250 units, please license via the compulsory provisions in the Copyright Law. For more information on compulsory licenses please see the Library of Congress' website www.copyright.gov or speak with an intellectual properties attorney.


SAMPLING/INTERPOLATIONS/ADAPTATIONS Thank you for your inquiry regarding sampling at FFM Music Publishing. If you would like to use an FFM song as a sample, interpolation, or adaptation, for release in the United States and Canada, please submit each request in writing using the sample clearance form.

If submitting via email, please ensure that audio files are in an open *.mp3 format, properly labeled and no larger than 10 MB’s.

Please allow time for processing, we will respond to your request as quickly as we can. For requests outside of the US and Canada, please contact the local FFM affiliate in that territory.


LYRIC REPRINTS If you are a registered music user of FFM’s website, please click on the Lyric Reprint Request button in the Song Search Results area of the Song Search & License section of the website. Please fill out the form as completely as possible, and click on the submit button. Your request will be emailed to our staff and


TRANSLATIONS Please send a written request including a copy of your new lyrics, an English translation of your new lyrics if applicable, with an audio recording of your new version if available, along with complete information regarding how this new version will be used to: FFM Music Publishing, Attn: Copyright Permissions.


PRINT/SHEET MUSIC Most of our sheet music is available for retail sale. Check with your local retailer. 

MASTER USES - FFM PUBLISHING AND RECORDS  If you would like to clear the rights to a Sound Recording or Master, please specify to them that your are trying to clear a master use.
